Make each day your own beautiful work of art. Take time to do things that inspire you before you get started with your day. Take a walk outside to simply be with the sun as it rises; let its boundless glow inspire you and fill you with warmth. Read a few pages of a book that fills you with light. Hug your loved ones or play with your puppy for a few extra minutes. And as you go about your day, remember that there is magic all around you even if some days it’s harder to find.
At the end of your day, take a moment as you rest your head on your pillow to find gratitude for all the wonderful things you experienced and created throughout your day. Because even if this day wasn’t extraordinary, even if this day was an average one, it played a part in your beautiful life, and that’s something to be wonderfully grateful for.
You deserve happiness. And I mean real happiness; true happiness. The kind of happiness that makes your heart fill with warmth.
And you deserve to feel what it feels like to be okay. To feel like the world isn’t against you. To feel like you aren’t constantly treading water just to keep from drowning. More than anything, you deserve to be okay.
And I know it’s hard to hear this, especially when you are so sad or not sorted emotionally. Especially when you are so far away from loving yourself. But I still want you to know. Because one day, you are going to feel okay again. One day you are going to feel happy again. It’s just a matter of time.
TOMORROW IS AN UPGRADE OF TODAY. NEVER STOP BELIEVING IN YOURSELF.
What makes people trust you? Less so than your true reliability or assets, warmth is a crucial factor in establishing trust. People are more open to trusting those who portray themselves warmly in a non-competitive and friendly truthful manner. This theory is known as stereotype content model. It suggests that people are more likely to judge people based on their warmth than anything else, even intelligence and financial status.
While knowledge and money can earn you respect, warmth will elicit trust. Earn trust with warmth.
