A shark in a fish tank will grow 8 inches, but in the ocean it will grow 8 ft or more. The shark will never out grow its environment, and the same is true about you. Many times we’re around small thinking people, so we don’t grow.
Every good thing takes time. You can’t rush things. Growth is not linear, but a journey; one filled with challenges and opportunities to push to your destination. No one can do it for you, it’s your journey. And there will be days you’ll want to give up, but you can keep going. There are no shortcuts to get there, so you have to embrace the process.
Think progress, not perfection. Allow yourself to grow in the process. Make room for failure too. Just do your daily practice and cultivate a kind heart. Bet on hard work. Abandon impatience. The results will come down when they’re ready. Remember, consistent small steps are way better than just one big step with no further progress.
1. TO IMPROVE YOUR MOOD, EXERCISE. 2. TO THINK MORE CLEARLY, MEDITATE. 3. TO UNDERSTAND THE WORLD, READ. 4. TO UNDERSTAND YOURSELF, WRITE. 5. TO HELP PEOPLE, HELP YOURSELF. 6. TO LEARN FASTER, HAVE FUN.
So you want to be happy? Then stop letting the smallest things ruin your whole entire day. If you’re bored with your daily routine, do something unexpected. Stop complaining about how alone you are when you’re surrounded by people who actually care about you. Forget all the drama and let go of all the grudges you’ve been holding. Stop wasting time lingering over all that you could have, should have and would have done. Stop spending your days thinking of how much better you could do; stop longing for something that has been and always will be out of your reach. Just live the days as they come. Wake up every morning and smile at the wonderful day that awaits you. Take a risk for once. Let yourself be happy, because you deserve it.
Always be the best person you can be. Be kind even when you’re tired. Be understanding even when you’re angry. Do more than you’re asked, and don’t ask for anything in return. Don’t silently expect anything either. Listen when someone talks, and really listen too, stop just thinking of how you’ll reply. Never jump over a conversation that’s initiated by other person. Tell people that you love them and that you appreciate them. Go out of your way to do things for people. Be the greatest person you can possibly be and when you mess up, make up for it in the next moment or minute or day.
One thing you should never do? Never spend your time trying to prove to anybody that you’re great, your actions will speak for themselves and we only have limited time on this earth, don’t waste it.
If someone doesn’t see your light, don’t worry. Like moths, GOOD PEOPLE are attracted to flame and to light, and they will come.
Don’t entertain negative energy. Some situations will test your patience and try to make you overreact, overthink, and respond to things that don’t deserve your life force. Your attention is your power. Don’t feed what doesn’t add value to your life. CONSERVE YOUR ENERGY.
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. And after seeing this video, i don’t have much left to do with this world where such dumbfucks get attention for doing nothing but giving me heart attack in my head. I mean, where are those aliens or MI6 who were taking away people at night for doing nonsensical wack jobs. I give up.)
1. Become more observant. Notice everything that surrounds you. The world is full of examples, ideas, words, wisdom, mistakes and experiences.
2. Collect ideas. Ideas and thoughts tend to evaporate from your mind too fast. Try to capture them before it is too late. Ideally, write down or sketch every single one.
3. Read. Read a lot. Reading is probably the best investment of time ever. Devote at least 30 minutes per day to reading. Ideally, have a book always with you.
4. Analyze your day. Before going to bed, spend 10 minutes analyzing your day. Consider what things you managed to do well and what mistakes you made.
5. Start writing. The biggest value of a good writing skill is that it cultivates a discipline. First of all, the discipline of thinking. Your thoughts will cease to be random and chaotic. They will gradually become systematic and structured instead.
If you tell a skiier to don’t lose balance or don’t get hit by a tree, they definitely will. So their trainer usually tells them to follow the path & nothing more.
Our Human brains are so stupid that we can’t comprehend the NEGATIVE. For example; If i tell you to not think about an elephant, you can’t follow that one. Didn’t you just think about an elephant right right now?
Life is like that & most people are exactly like that. The people who worry too much about failure/betrayal/getting cheated/behaving bad are the ones who usually do all those negative things as their first line of defence. And later overthinking makes everything worse with time.
Just become confident & stay consistent on your journey, i believe you can do that. Confident & consistent with your thoughts/mindset. Confident & consistent with communication/behaviour. Confident & consistent with your lifestyle/habit/choices/goals. Confident & consistent with the way you live. You don’t need different stories for different people. In short, you don’t need that negativity to prosper inside you. Follow the path of light. Life is fun, let it flourish.
There are many people who walk around with big egos feeling righteous and more entitled than others. It doesn’t matter where you come from or who you think you are, we’re all human beings with beating hearts. A lot of times people judge others and assume that they’re right, but you can’t just assume your point of view is right. You have to be willing to see outside of yourself. There are so many people in the world and if you’re only asking yourself for answers, then you’re living your life in a bubble.
Think twice before you feel like judging someone, put yourself in their shoes and remember they’re entitled to their own opinions and perspectives. They see the world differently.
You don’t deserve a point of view if the only thing you see is you. -PARAMORE.
Your impact on other people is bigger than you think. Someone still giggles when they think of that funny thing you said. Someone still smiles when they think of the compliment you gave them. Someone silently admires you. The advice you give has made a difference for people. The support and love you’ve offered others has made someone’s day. Your input and opinions have made someone think twice. You’re not insignificant and forgotten. Your existence makes a positive difference, whether you see it or not.
Have faith & keep striving.
(This movie trailer got nothing to do with the post above. Very rarely i talk about a movie that’s not based on animation or fantasy. This movie is based on a real life boxer turned catholic priest Father Stuart Long. Everyone gets chances to redeem their sins of life.)
1. Make peace with your past so it won’t screw up the present. 2. What others think of you is none of your business. 3. Time heals almost everything, give it time. 4. Don’t compare your life to others and don’t judge them. You have no idea what their journey is all about. 5. Stop thinking too much, it’s alright not to know the answers. Answers will come to you when you least expect it. 6. No one is in charge of your happiness, except you. 7. Smile. You don’t own all the problems in the world. 8. Understand the difference between WANT & NEED. Follow what you feel.
Don’t waste time with people who don’t appreciate and value you for everything you have to offer. I see people keep chasing someone thinking they can change them or friends who don’t have their best interests at heart, but it doesn’t work that way. One of the keys to lasting relationships and friendships is MUTUAL RESPECT.
Don’t squander your time chasing anyone who has told you they don’t want you around. Evaluate all your relationships and weed out the negative ones. Go where you are wanted and stray from where you aren’t. Surround yourself with positive people and environments. (Not my words.)
Our thoughts are so powerful that we must always be mindful and conscious of what we’re telling ourselves. We have the power to manifest anything we want with the power of our thinking. So often we can get into a pattern of negative thinking without even realising it, and before we know it we have brought into our lives the very thing we were afraid of. The good news is that this principle also works for positive thoughts. By thinking wonderful things about our lives, we are subconsciously changing them with the energy of our perspective.
Make sure you spend today thinking thoughts aligned with your dreams. Cut out the thoughts that are bringing you down. In this process of nurturing your thoughts, stay consistent with your approach. (Not my words).
If you think you are a GOOD PERSON, give without expecting anything in return. It may not come back to you immediately. But your almighty is watching, someday that REWARD of giving will be beyond your imaginations.
It is important to know who you are, what you stand for and how you want to see yourself. You have your whole life for you, and you determine what you do with it and how you will experience your journey. There is no one who can tell you who you are, because you decide for yourself. You make your own choices, you choose your own direction and you determine your own steps.
Think about who you are, think about how you position yourself against others. Think of your qualities, your intentions & consistent approach. See yourself as the person you want to be, without thinking about your status, your score, your ability or the people around you. Nothing or nobody should affect who you are as a person, who you are in terms of thinking, who you are with your true intentions, who you are in your actions. The life you have for you is your chance to follow your dreams, to discover, to develop and to enjoy yourself. Imagine a life in which you are completely yourself, in which you fulfill your dreams. Live your life.
FEELINGS, the thing about this way that you feel right now is that it’s only temporary. I know that your mind is consumed right now, suffocating; it’s like you can’t find a way to think about anything other than the things that are causing you anxiety. These feelings don’t last. It may not feel like it right now, but this feeling will fade; maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but you will smile again, you will feel like you again, you will feel happy and full of life again. Nothing is permanent. That’s the bittersweet part about life. That’s why it’s so important to appreciate the truly amazing parts and people in your life while also understanding that the bad days won’t last forever. Always be present, always be grateful, always know that you’ll get through this obstacle and the one after that.
You’re so much stronger than you think you are right now. Think about it; you’ve gotten through every tough day in your life so far, and this is no different. Take a big breath and think of all the things you have to be grateful for and breathe out all the bad. You are in control of how you feel. You are in control of this moment. YOU ARE IN CONTROL. PERIOD.
A shark in a fish tank will grow 8 inches, but in the ocean it will grow 8 ft or more. The shark will never out grow its environment, and the same is true about you. Many times we’re around small thinking people, so we don’t grow. Change your environment and watch your growth.
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. Watch it to know something new about the world we live.)
Stop lying yourself about “I don’t have the time”. Thinking you don’t have time prevents you from taking Chances. It allows you to put the important stuff off until you really don’t have time. If something is important to you, you should try to make time for it.
Just changing the way you think about things is beneficial. Merely thinking about something important that’s worth spending time on can encourage you to actually get it done.
I workout, follow a healthy diet, wear nice clothes/sneakers/watches/perfume & take care of few things related to my personal hygiene. Because I care about THE WAY I LOOK, not because what other people think how I look.
