True me.. Tap-1056..

A mental health reminder:

A relapse, a sudden series of attacks, a string of awful days (or whatever your step back may be), does not decrease your value.

Take your time, do some self care, even if it’s just being proud that you got through another day.
Reflect on the progress you’ve made.

You are strong:
One step back is nothing when you look at the journey you’ve already made.

You aren’t alone.
Everyone connects with what you are going through.
Be a healthy happier version of yourself slowly but surely one step at a time.

Just because someone has treated you unkindly doesn’t mean you are unworthy of kindness.
Just because someone has made you feel unloved doesn’t mean you don’t deserve love.
Remember when someone says hurtful things to you or acts in a way that hurts your heart, they are only showing the hurt they are carrying within themselves.
Their action reflects who they are, not what you deserve.

True me.. Tap-972..

Most of our lives move at such an accelerated pace we don’t always have the time to stop and reflect on how far we’ve come.
We are usually too busy looking ahead.
But it’s so important to keep checking in with yourself.
We change all the time.
It’s easy to get caught up feeling dissatisfied with where you are when you don’t take the time to appreciate how far you’ve come.
You don’t have to be exactly where you want to be, but the fact that you are on your way is remarkable.
Good things and progress take time.

Make today all about celebrating how far you’ve come in your life since last year.
What is something you’ve changed in your life that you are proud of?

Remember how far you’ve come, not just how far you have to go.
You are not where you want to be, but neither are you where you used to be.

Spend some time reassessing the past year.
Think about how you have grown,
how you’ve changed,
what you’d like to continue doing,
and what you’re ready to move on from.

I always find the last few days of the year are packed with so much intense energy and possibility for change that the best thing you can do is sit and reflect.

Make a list of all that you’ve accomplished this year.
Then welcome the new year full of things that have never been.

(This video got something to do with the post above. Watch it to know what the world went through in 2021. Happy to see the post number 1000 ending on the last day of the year.)
