Throw away the idea that you need to pause your life until you are fully healed; this is a different way of being attached to perfection. Progress happens when you make better decisions in the midst of living. You can simultaneously heal your past while being open to the present.
I know that everybody worries about what’s coming next, but in my experience it doesn’t do any good. It just makes you more stressed out and usually you’re just worrying about things that may never even happen. Today and this moment is all we have, so stay present and focused and count your blessings for today and trust that the rest will fall into place.
Count your blessings today. No need to worry about tomorrow, when we’ve been blessed with today. (Not my words.)
It’s so easy to beat ourselves up for mistakes we’ve made in the past. Mistakes are part of being human and they are part of being alive. Our mistakes are blessings and opportunities to keep learning and expanding. But even when you learn from your mistakes, don’t expect to never make another. You will and that’s okay.
Keep growing and embrace each challenge as a chance to learn something new and you will be amazed by how easy it is to move on. Mistakes are nothing more than opportunities to learn, grow, and better our future.
1. Make peace with your past so it won’t screw up the present. 2. What others think of you is none of your business. 3. Time heals almost everything, give it time. 4. Don’t compare your life to others and don’t judge them. You have no idea what their journey is all about. 5. Stop thinking too much, it’s alright not to know the answers. Answers will come to you when you least expect it. 6. No one is in charge of your happiness, except you. 7. Smile. You don’t own all the problems in the world. 8. Understand the difference between WANT & NEED. Follow what you feel.
Nobody knows how long we are on earth for; you don’t want to waste your time here stressing about the next day. You should just appreciate the moment and try to cherish it as often as you can.
Realise that time is limited and challenge yourself to live each day to the fullest. What is a way you can live your life to the fullest today?
Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. But TODAY is a gift, make the best of it & make the most of it.
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. I like SNL for some valid reasons. One of the best skits from Pete Davidson.)
What is possible in this life is relative to what you’re capable of. As we expand our knowledge and consciousness, we continue to grow, and the things that we thought were not possible suddenly become attainable. The more we are encouraged to expand our knowledge and our perceptions about how things work in our lives, the more we are able to accomplish.
Put your mind to a chore or task today. Turn impossible into possible. Make a list of ways your biggest dreams can one day come true. It’s quite possible things will turn out far better than you could imagine. IMPOSSIBLE only lives in your head till you make it happen.
Your body sheds your tired skin every twenty seven days. You were not made to hold your past within you. You were not made to carry it all on your back. You physically let go of every bad thing that has ever touched you, of every pair of foreign hands that unbuttoned your shirt but never your demons; you let go of every regret, of every insecurity. You are always gifted a clean slate.
Remember that your tongue is the strongest muscle in your body. You were made to speak, so speak loudly and communicate honestly about how you feel. Speak about what hurts you, about what has broken you. Speak about your story, share it with the world.
Letting go does not mean you stop caring. It means you stop trying to force others to.
If your relationship to the present moment is not right, nothing can ever be right in the future. Because when the future comes, it’s the present moment.
– Eckhart Tolle.
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. During Syria & Yemen crisis, EU absorbed almost half million refugees/migrants. Current data shows almost 160,000 of those have just gone missing/out of records. Nobody knows whether they are dead, turned into angels or terrorists. I guess it’s right time to take a strong stance against illegal migration at every part of the world. Corona virus cases are going high once again & winter is around, no one is ready for more bullshit.)
Remember you are not promised tomorrow. So how are you going to ensure that you crash your heart into your life? How are you going to ensure that you leave this world, whenever it happens for you, with a soul that is tender and full and weathered in the best way? With a soul that was never asked to make itself smaller, with a soul that was never waiting for the day it was skinnier, or prettier, or cooler, or more successful, in order to take advantage of the time it was given?
We cannot wait to be the people we have always dreamed of being. We cannot wait for life to perfect itself. There is no right time, there is no perfect circumstance. We have to leap, even when our legs are shaking. We have to show up for ourselves not in 3 months, or 5 years, or 10 years, but now. In this moment. Because every single day is a blessing. Every single day is a gift. Do not lose sight of that.
