There were times in life when I let myself get completely consumed with jealousy for someone else’s life, their body, their wardrobe, their talent.
It’s a common emotion to experience.
They call it the green eyed monster for a reason.
It’s self-destructive and when it’s in the room, it consumes you.
Be strong and don’t focus on what other people have.

Release any jealousy you have for someone else’s life and allow yourself to feel deep gratitude that you are living your own life.
Don’t torment yourself with jealousy.
It’s a silly illusion that someone’s life is better than yours when the truth is that each one of us is on a different unique beautiful path.

Sometimes my white friends want to know to whom i am saying “RAM RAM” over phone instead of starting a conversation with a simple HELLO!!
Today is the right day to answer this.
This has something to do with my values, upbringing, religion, morals, childhood & my grandpa’s bedtime stories because my both parents were working.
I am not a strong believer in religion the way people portray now a days. But i believe in your beliefs.
I believe there’s GOD, a positive divine power guiding us from somewhere.
If you are productive, truthful, consistent with what you do from a clean heart, kind or humble towards other human, all of these acts are filled with godly goodness.
I am born Hindu, and i believe i am a practicing Hindu.
My religion teaches there are multiple forms of GOD, and there are multiple pathways to heaven, so all religions must be treated with equal amounts of respect & acceptance.

Let’s get back to my answer.
Before some thousands of years there used to be a King named “Lord Ram”, incarnation of god significant to Hinduism. Some circumstances forced him to stay away from his family & palace. He lived in forest for 14 years like a normal human leaving his royalty aside. During those 14 years, he fought some demons, saved his wife & kingdom after killing a 10 headed monster named Ravan. Those 10 heads represent lust, anger, delusion, greed, pride, envy, mind, intellect, will and the ego. Ravan is the example how certain negative traits can downsize good qualities & the world remembers him as a MONSTER today. Today is the date “LORD RAM” killed Ravan & “godess DURGA” killed mahishasur, this day symbolises victory of good over evil & we celebrate it as DUSSEHRA.
HAPPY DUSSEHRA TO EVERYONE WHETHER YOU ARE CELEBRATING OR NOT.

After killing Ravan, Lord Ram returned back to rule his kingdom. Under his kingdom, there was no place for any criminal or derogatory behaviour. He established a standard for men to be truthful, faithful, kind, loyal & brave. Till the day he ruled, every human being enjoyed equal amounts of respect & happiness.
So when a Hindu says “RAM RAM”, Ram is the goodness/god inside you/your soul. One Ram is for you & other one for me.
The meaning behind it is;
“WE ARE EXCHANGING EQUAL AMOUNTS OF RESPECT AS HUMANS WITH A HOPE TO SEE A WORLD LIKE LORD RAM’S KINGDOM WHERE EVERYONE IS HAPPY & TREATED EQUALLY”.

You don’t have to be religious to be a good person. A lot of people in society believe that, the only way to be a good person is to be religious. And that if you don’t identify with any of the major religions of the world, then clearly you have no values or morals.

While most religions typically have morality at the core of their teachings, morality and spirituality don’t always go hand in hand. You don’t need religion to be a good person. Secular humanists possess ethical values like kindness, compassion and altruism. You don’t need to subscribe to an entire belief system to be morally just.

The biggest hurdle on your way to happiness is self-loathing. Self-loathing is very similar to insecurity. And if you experience it, know that you’re not alone. Almost everyone experiences some form of self-hate at one time or another. It’s the feeling you are not enough, unworthy or undeserving of the good things in life, like love and happiness. The truth is that, everyone deserves love and happiness. But we’re often taught the opposite. It may arise from a history of abuse, cultural or social messages or being excluded.

Bad relationships, failures and many other different experiences can lead you to believe that, there is something inherently wrong with you. Well, there isn’t and self-loathing will only bring you down even if you’ve made decisions that you’re not proud of. You can learn from your mistakes, hating yourself over them will not do you any good. Let go of your self-loathing. It’s a barrier to your happiness. And you do deserve to be happy.

Asked one of my friend whether she is excited about the vote/poll results & what’s her opinion about current situation of USA!?! Her response made me reschedule today’s post to some other day & write this one instead.

Her reply was: “I voted for the first time because I can’t stand that orange piece of shit. How can a creep take over the role of PRESIDENT!?! USA is a long rant right now. Not because of Trump, I don’t give a shit what he says. My problem is his supporters. People are ok with that full time lier & part time womanizer, which means all his supporters also support the way that jerk thinks. Situation here is sad.”

Yes this post is related to US elections. Still no matter from where you are reading this, I have something to share with you on politics. Most of the time politicians start barking about NATIONALISM or RELIGION when they fail to keep their promises on DEVELOPMENT. The only quality you should look forward in a politician is his/her character & integrity. Now I hope you have the answer whom to vote for.

(People reading it from USA please don’t take it personally. I have cousins & friends who live in your country since they were in their mum’s tummy/dad’s dong. Leaving this political mess & a dash of racism/inequality aside, I LOVE DISNEYLAND.)

If you know me personally or you follow what I post in this blog, hopefully you already know there are two kinds of people I hate the most “SMOKERS & LIARS”. Smokers are those people who don’t give a shit about their own health or their family’s health while neglecting the fact “SECOND HAND SMOKING is dangerous as well”. The funniest part is dumbfucks who smoke weed to look/feel cool or calm, there are tons of reasearch yet to be done to prove whether marijuana is addictive or harmful to health.

Let me share an amazing incident that happened before this pandemic. It’s about a friend who came for a late night party & started smoking weed in my balcony. I showed her my gate while explaining “how to go out of my apartment right away during a cold chilly weather” & stopped talking to her even after receiving 80-90 sorry/sorrow filled texts. First it’s illegal to smoke weed where I live, second I might have done the same even if it’s a stupid cigarette. This same person started countering my aggressive opinion against weed/smoking by saying: “Even your favourite Elon Musk smoked weed on camera & everyone smokes weed now a days”. My response to that; “please give me that list of everyone, so that I can stay away from every piece of shit in that everyone’s list. Elon Musk owns couple billion dollars & also running 5-6 most ridiculously successful companies. Where are yours??!”

Takeaway; a person with loose morals & cheap mentality will always find it’s way to shit from mouth no matter how badly you want them to behave.
