Self-care isn’t just holidays and massages. It’s working on your habits. It’s working on your mindset. It’s working on healing your past. It’s removing toxic thoughts. It’s removing toxic people. It’s removing places which didn’t serve best interest of your life.
It’s living intentionally. It’s living purposefully. It’s living consciously.
Educate yourself. When a question about a certain topic pops up, google it. Watch movies and documentaries. When something sparks your interest, read about it. Read read read. Study a lot. Learn. Stimulate your brain. Grow & vibe. Don’t just rely on the education system, educate that beautiful mind of yours. Every information is education.
Your AMBITION should be to get as much life out of living as you possibly can, as much enjoyment, as much interest, as as much experience, as much understanding. And not to simply be what is generally called a “SUCCESS”.
Don’t waste time with people who don’t appreciate and value you for everything you have to offer. I see people keep chasing someone thinking they can change them or friends who don’t have their best interests at heart, but it doesn’t work that way. One of the keys to lasting relationships and friendships is MUTUAL RESPECT.
Don’t squander your time chasing anyone who has told you they don’t want you around. Evaluate all your relationships and weed out the negative ones. Go where you are wanted and stray from where you aren’t. Surround yourself with positive people and environments. (Not my words.)
1. Know that your only competition is who you were yesterday. 2. Earn, save and invest before you spend. 3. Avoid negative people, life is too short. 4. If you don’t go after what you want, you will never get it. 5. See failure as a beginning, not an end. 6. Our habits decide our future, remain consistent with what you do in life.
6 months of hardcore focus and alignment can put you 5 years ahead in life. Don’t underestimate the power of consistency and desire. You have what it takes to become the best that you can be. Don’t ever doubt yourself. Harness your power. Exceed your expectations. CONSISTENCY ALWAYS WINS.
Be with someone who is invested in you. I don’t mean someone who thinks you’re cute or funny. I mean someone who wants to know every insignificant detail about you.
Someone who wants to read every word you write. Someone who wants to hear every note of your favorite song, and watch every scene of your favorite movie. Someone who wants to find every scar upon your body, and learn where each one came from. Someone who communicates with both head & heart. Someone who knows why you prefer black coffee & sourdough pizza. Someone who wants to know your favorite brand of toothpaste & shower gel, and which quotes resonate deep inside your bones when you hear them.
There is a difference between attraction, interest & the word i mentioned INVEST. Find the person who wants to learn every aspect of who you are, and hold onto them.
Every relationship/equation/friendship in your life are an immense investment of consistent time & energy, never offer discounts on that.
Life is a funny little process. Because sometimes you find yourself when you least expect it. Sometimes you let go when you don’t even notice you’re letting go. And sometimes the right people find you on the days you need them the most. Sometimes everything just clicks. Because the universe is always in your favor. It is always looking out for your best interest. Always making sure you get the lessons and gifts you need. Have faith in your progress because, progress is a gradual consistent process. Life is fun, let it be.
(This music video got nothing to do with the post above. Next few words are for my bestfriend DEMI, pardon your RUDEY/TAPPIE/GOLDEN BEAR/LION KING. This song was on loop 3 times & my neighbour girl was vibing looking hella sassy 🔥🔥🔥 in a bit to short denim shorts. You know my hands have their own life while dancing & I can’t get over athletic caucasian girls. Yes i hate you, actually i love your fit 🍑 little more than i like you.😂🤪 Missing your voice & vibe. No matter who’s around, you own the biggest chunk of my head & heart till i am single. Pick me from Matt’s place, office dinner tomorrow & my eyes are wide open to devour your A-game.😋 I won’t leave it open, you know I’m on on go. Moving too fast, you know I’m on on go).
Educate yourself. When a question about a certain topic pops up, Google it. Watch movies, YouTube videos and documentaries. When something sparks your interest, read about it. Read read read. Study, learn, stimulate your brain. Don’t just rely on the school system, educate that beautiful mind of yours.
Go to university, but go for the right reasons. Education isn’t a gun held to your head: it’s a weapon in your hands. Go not because you’re afraid of not getting a job but go because you love to learn, because you’re excited by ideas, because you believe that education is important for its own sake, and when you get there, pay attention, read everything you can get your hands on, cram yourself with words and figures and ideas, because that’s the one thing they can never take away from you. At the end understand Knowledge, Skills & Qualification, all are equally important parts of life.
OK. Enough of this confusion. When your blood is connected to a land called INDIA; you only get two options for college, either you become a doctor or an engineer. I failed to get good ranks for medicines, so I did engineering & became an ENGINEER. Now don’t ask me why.
After that I did a job with an MNC for a year. Felt like I want something else. I had enthusiasm towards business skills, so desires pushed me for an MBA. Private education is all about money. You can say; I bought myself an MBA degree with adequate amount efforts/studies because I desperately wanted it. Now I am busy with business which is fulfilling my desires & helping me earn more than what I spend. Next step is little bigger than what I am, stop questioning & keep watching me.
My curiosities are my future opportunities. I mark myself closely whenever I develop interest towards something, that’s the reason my tongue to bones all speak the same line when I start something new.
