I don’t desire much. I like sunsets and looking at the sky. I love eating good food and having conversations with humans. From time to time I think I sing well in the shower. I’m just a fan of being alive.
Don’t let this world make you bitter. Don’t let the actions of other people turn you cold on the inside. Certain things happen that hurt us, people come that leave us, and most of all there are moments when you’re bound to fall. Don’t let those things make you unkind. It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to be sad. But it’s never okay to do other people wrong just because you were done wrong. We’re human. We break. We make mistakes. But don’t let pain and sadness run your life.
Wake up in the morning and do what you think is right. There are moments in your life where you feel like giving up and you can’t take it anymore. It’s okay. Breathe. Inhale. Exhale. I know you’re weak. But the things that show your weak side are also the same ones that make you stronger in the long run. It’s all about taking whatever life throws at you and learning from it.
Just because people are being bad to you, doesn’t mean you should sacrifice the same energy to them. Don’t go through that kind of effort. The best thing you can do is to completely ignore them and focus on what makes you better. It’s hard, but know that you deserve only good and positive vibes.
You were not born to embrace and express negativity. Maybe the people around you might have brought that side out of you, but naturally you’re nothing like those people. You are way better than that. Keep working towards your human side. There’s nothing more attractive than KINDNESS & EMPATHY.
I think sometimes people believe that worrying has some kind of productive purpose. Worry sucks all of your energy and joy out of whatever it is you’re doing. It’s human nature to worry, but when we do it constantly, we run into more problems. It may give you something to do, but you don’t get anywhere.
The next time you are worrying about something, try to remember that you aren’t always in control. Instead, do practical things like make a budget or create a schedule. Be proactive and let go of the stress. After all, it won’t change a thing. Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength.
DON’T COMPARE YOUR actual self to a hypothetical self. Don’t drown in a sea of ‘what if’s. Don’t clutter your mind by imagining other versions of you, in parallel universes, where you made different decisions. The internet age encourages choice and comparison, but don’t do this to yourself. Theodore Roosevelt said; “Comparison is the thief of joy”.
You are you. The past is the past. The only way to make a better life is from inside the present. To focus on regret does nothing but turn that very present into another thing you will wish you did differently.
Accept your own reality. Be human enough to make mistakes. Be human enough not to dread the future. Be human enough to be, well, enough. Accepting where you are in life makes it so much easier to be happy for other people without feeling terrible about yourself. BE YOU.
If you start living for the smallest reasons, that’s when you know you’re really living, the smell of rain after a thunderstorm, the shades of pavements when it’s autumn, the harvest season and the unspoken competition to pick the freshest tomatoes, the mediocre midnights and the color of the sunsets, the smell of bakeries early in the morning, the frosty breeze of the fast-approaching winter, the warmth of oven when baking christmas cookies, the thickness of paper when flipping through magazine pages, the smell of new books and new clothes and new things.
When you start looking at things, really really looking, you’ll start living. Because then you’ll understand how it is to really be a HUMAN in this world full of people.
LEARN TO BE A HUMAN. APPRECIATE & LIVE YOUR LIFE FOR YOURSELF.
There are many people who walk around with big egos feeling righteous and more entitled than others. It doesn’t matter where you come from or who you think you are, we’re all human beings with beating hearts. A lot of times people judge others and assume that they’re right, but you can’t just assume your point of view is right. You have to be willing to see outside of yourself. There are so many people in the world and if you’re only asking yourself for answers, then you’re living your life in a bubble.
Think twice before you feel like judging someone, put yourself in their shoes and remember they’re entitled to their own opinions and perspectives. They see the world differently.
You don’t deserve a point of view if the only thing you see is you. -PARAMORE.
We humans do not understand compassion. In each moment of our lives, we betray it. We know of its worth, yet in knowing we then attach to it a value, we guard the giving of it, believing it must be earned. Compassion is priceless in the truest sense of the world. It must be given freely.
