1. Missing people is not a reason to reconnect with them. It’s okay to remember people without rekindling. 2. You can’t talk to everyone about everything. It’s okay to have certain people for certain topics. 3. When someone is envious of you, it’s not your job to make them feel better about who you are. 4. Assumptions are not rooted in fact. If you want to know something, it’s always best to ask. 5. Authenticity equals freedom. There’s nothing that someone can hold over you when you’re okay with who you are.
Don’t allow your life to just be fine. Or just okay. Or even just good.
Make it brilliant, consistent, spectacular, wild, extraordinary. Fill with excitement and adventure, be passionate and fearless, search for freedom and opportunity. You only get one life, so make it count. Make it mean something amazing. Make it yours.
The more energy you spend living your dreams, the more that energy will spread to other people. Your courage to live your dreams will give people courage, inspiration, and freedom to start living out their own dreams. You’re a living example of what some people feel is impossible. There’s no greater gift you could give someone like that.
If you’re feeling fearful or uninspired about your dreams, spend time with a friend who is motivated and draw inspiration when needed. When you do your best and live out your dreams, you inspire others to do the same.
We’re never doomed because we’re being reborn each day and life is filled with new opportunities. You have the freedom to wake up one day and decide to travel the world, change career paths, or reach out to a friend you haven’t spoken to in years. Every day is filled with new ideas and possibilities.
Do something unexpected and out of character today. Free yourself.
Each morning, we are born again. What we do today is what matters most. -BUDDHA.
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. Watch this video to understand little more about our stupid human mindset on hustle, goals & achieving things in short. Nobody understands it’s about being productive & how much value you are bringing. IF YOU WANT TO MOVE FAST, GO SLOW.)
When you live with unforgiveness in your heart, you become debilitated, unable to move and show up in the world in the way that you were created to all because, you took on the spirit of offense and chose not to forgive.
So, you see while at times, you may feel like it’s your right to hold offense and not forgive and while you do have free will you must also understand that what you felt was a “right” will also be the very thing that strips you of your ability to live in freedom. And, so in your quest to experience justice, you’ll only instigate the greater injustice against yourself, your we being, and your future.
Know this: FORGIVENESS IS POWERFUL. FORGIVENESS IS FREEDOM. It liberates you from offense, from bitterness, and from the negative spirits that will invade your heart, soul, and mind and prohibit you from being a source of light in the world. So, forgive even when it’s hard, even when the person across the table is undeserving.
(This paragraph got nothing to do with the post above. I am still a part-time employee because of my student status & business interests. Workplace environment gets messy when somebody sends a package without mentioning employee ID, especially when we all are working from home since the beginning of this pandemic. It’s tough to explain further. Please don’t send gifts to my office address.)
When you see broken pieces of humanity, broken systems, broken ways of doing things, please don’t look away.
Don’t sit out saying, “there’s nothing i can do”.
Like anything, change happens when we decide to show up and say something. As human beings, we were meant to come to each other’s aid to take care of one another, to live in peace and unity, to fight and defend each other’s freedom, rights, and voices.
So, don’t wait for someone else to stand up and say “let’s fix this”. Step in- now. Be the voice of justice and change NOW. Not when you feel ready, but when you see it, when you realize it. Because, now that you have seen, you are responsible. And the only way we’ll see change, justice, and restoration is if we’re bold enough to take the first step and lead the way for others to do the same. DON’T LOOK AWAY. Raise your voice towards safeguarding your HUMAN VALUES.
