Be so fucking committed to your growth that you’re willing to say NO without guilt and YES without fear.
People settle because they’re afraid something better won’t come along.
They fear they aren’t good enough.
You are worth exactly what you want in life, but you have to believe it or you won’t attract something better.
Take a moment to realize your worth.
Don’t ever settle.
I know the easy option is to keep waiting until you are ‘ready’ but it’s going to get to a point where you realise that ‘someday’ is today and that there is no right time.
Ignore the fear of failure and jump when you need to.
It’s better to fail than to not try at all.
Put everything on the line for your dreams.
Gamble high, go all in.
There’s no playing it safe when it comes to this.
There’s no fear.
If you’re going to do something, risk it all.
Let everyone know what you’re doing, leave nothing in the safety net.
It’s going to be scary, you’re going to feel uncomfortable and that’s normal.
But don’t be so afraid to try something and be all about it.
You have to do what you’re passionate about.
(This Avatar: The way of water trailer got nothing to do with the post above. I remember i saw the first Avatar movie with 12 of my engineering school friends. Happy to see this series getting a major reboot.)
Fears stop you from all things possible.
Don’t let fear get in the way of anything, especially your dreams.
Did you know that FEAR is actually an acronym that stands for False Evidence Appearing Real?
In other words, your fears are not real because they’re not actually happening they’re based on things that haven’t happened yet and therefore don’t exist.
Replace a fear with a wish or a dream for your life and choose to focus on that instead.
Too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears.
It’s telling you where you feel powerless.
It’s telling you that something in your life is off balance.
It’s telling you what you care about.
It’s telling you where you’re overextended and burnt out.
Your feelings aren’t random, they are messengers.
And if you want to get anywhere, you need to be able to let them speak to you, and tell you what you really need.
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. Adults seeking advice from elementary school kids on how to cope up with life, literally the world is losing it’s sense of balance. Thinking of kids, this is more than cute in my eyes. I asked my friend Frank’s 20 month old nephew what he wants to eat when we were in supermarket. He replied; “EVERYTHING IN THAT” while pointing his finger to the ice cream freezer. Why can’t adults be this simple as kids!! LIFE IS FUN, LET IT BE.)
The more energy you spend living your dreams, the more that energy will spread to other people.
Your courage to live your dreams will give people courage, inspiration, and freedom to start living out their own dreams.
You’re a living example of what some people feel is impossible.
There’s no greater gift you could give someone like that.
If you’re feeling fearful or uninspired about your dreams, spend time with a friend who is motivated and draw inspiration when needed.
When you do your best and live out your dreams, you inspire others to do the same.
I used to run and hide from my feelings especially when I felt something that was upsetting, painful, or uncomfortable.
But over time I’ve learned to accept all of my feelings.
I know that in order for me to work through them, I must first honor and embrace all emotions.
They are a part of me.
Therefore they are meaningful and valid.
Pick a feeling that you’re afraid or ashamed of.
Feeling fear, anger, or sadness is okay as long as you don’t let it define you.
Embrace your emotions and remind yourself how valuable they are.
Don’t invalidate your feelings. Honor them.
It’s so important that children feel like they can think and talk openly.
Parents and teachers are meant to inspire young people be role models to children and students.
Don’t put down their views and opinions.
Let them know their value and intelligence.
No matter your age, make sure you always inspire, nurture, and support others.
Let children read whatever they want and then talk about it with them.
If parents and kids can talk together, we won’t have as much censorship because we won’t have as much fear.
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. If you are someone like me who plays Assassin’s creed during weekend, you will definitely know this song. It’s actually an 17th century Irish folk song. Yes it’s little quirky & cheeky. Someday next year onwards i will sing it to my future kids like a nursery rhyme.)
Listen to that little voice inside yourself, like a loving parent or a good friend.
This is the truest part of your soul, the key to your happiness.
Sometimes thoughts, fears, or other people get too loud and we can’t hear ourselves.
Do what you need to do to get back in touch.
Today, follow what your heart tells you.
Nobody but you knows what is right for you, so listen to your instincts.
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. I talk very little about games even though i play Xbox games almost every weekend for 1-2 hours. This game trailer looks amazing. Happy to see video game developers connecting cultures & deities.)
