Our preference for instant gratification reveals an important truth about success: because of how we are wired, most people will spend all day chasing quick hits of satisfaction.

The road less traveled is the road of delayed gratification.
If you’re willing to wait for the rewards, you’ll face less competition and often get a bigger payoff.
As the saying goes; the last mile is always the least crowded.

STAY CONSISTENT & ENJOY THE JOURNEY.

Your life is about breaking your own limits and outgrowing yourself to live your best life.
You are not in competition with anyone else.

TOMORROW IS AN UPGRADE OF TODAY.

(This 3 minutes video got nothing to do with the post above. It’s about when can we expect an end to this pandemic in 2022.)

Let me tell you something funny today.
Now a days we all hear once in a while someone random comes online in YouTube or any other social media & says, “You don’t need a school/college/university degree to be successful in life”.
Even Elon Musk once said “You can learn almost anything from internet for free”.
My question is; “As a human & society as whole, do we value free things?”.
I totally agree you can learn any skill for free if you have a strong willpower.
But that doesn’t take away the fact that a good school/college/university education is important.
Rich people don’t want competition. It’s beneficial for them if a major chunk of population stays under qualified, cheap labour you know.

Let me bust all these crap today.
Roughly 7.9 billion human population in our world & 92% adults don’t have a college/university degree.
And the rest 8% people who have a college/university degree own 74% of entire world’s wealth.
So don’t take advice from people who haven’t walked that path.
In most cases what happens; even getting into a good university or any ivy league school is a big deal here, that says your mind is ready for the big game.

Education is necessary.
Qualification is important.
Skills you learned will take you places.

In this generation it is almost exceptional that we look after each other and stand up for each other.
There is competition and power struggles everywhere, but why?
We could achieve so much more together if we support, respect and appreciate each other.
I don’t compete with anyone, I am myself, I have different goals, norms and values, I am unique, just like you are, and for that we are not competitors but equals.

Jealousy, competition and grudging are therefore hugely misguided, it is impossible to compare yourself to another.
The only thing you can do is look at yourself, develop yourself, compete with yourself and become your own ideal image.
There is no room for jealousy, grudging and hatred, as this will always negatively affect your self development and self-image.

Focus on your own goals and work on yourself.
Respect that you will never be like others and they will never be like you.
Don’t change for anyone.
Change for yourself.
You are your own and only competition.

This is for the ones who are struggling right now.
This is for the ones who have been having a rough day or week or even year.
The ones who feel like this storm will never end.
Keep fighting for you.
Not for friends, not for your family, but for you.
Keep fighting because deep down you hold a tiny voice that knows you were meant for far more than this sadness and pain you are feeling.
Keep fighting because the person you will be on the other side of all this is cheering for you so much.
Keep fighting because you will get there.
And it will be worth it.

Understand that your competition isn’t other people.
Your competition is your procrastination.
Your ego.
The unhealthy food you’re consuming.
The knowledge you neglect.
The negative behaviour you’re nurturing.
And your lack of creativity.
Compete against that.
You deserve a better you. (Not my words).

The basic principle of every religion is “HAVE FAITH IN YOUR FAITH”.
People usually forget, it’s not a competition between which Religion/God is big!!
At the end we all are in search of PEACE.

Your competition is your procrastination, your ego, the unhealthy food you’re consuming, the knowledge you neglect, the negative behavior you’re nurturing & your lack of creativity.

I am motivated, not because of some stupid goals. I have fears, those fears are my competition now. There is a anger in me to crush them. Achievements are not big for me, but the lessons I learnt are priceless.

Money is the reason behind progress of our society. It teaches you to see profit in what you do. The hunger for profit drives competition. And that competition brings the best talent available/possible.
