You need to ignore what everyone else is doing and achieving. Your life is about breaking your own limits and outgrowing yourself to live your best life. You are not in competition with anyone else. Plan to outdo your past, not other people.

Your competition isn’t other people, your competition is:
• Your procrastination. • Your EGO. • Unhealthy food you’re consuming. • The knowledge you neglect to learn. • Negative behavior you’re nurturing. • Your lack of creativity.

Don’t spend it scrolling through everyone else’s Don’t spend it wishing you had someone else’s Don’t spend it comparing it to someone else’s Don’t spend it competing with someone else’s Don’t spend it talking about someone else’s Don’t spend it recounting your mistakes Don’t spend it rehearsing your failures Don’t spend it focusing on your limitations Don’t spend it living in regret Don’t spend it paralyzed by fear Don’t spend it listening to the naysayers Don’t spend it living purposelessly.
If you start living for the smallest reasons, that’s when you know you’re really living, the smell of rain after a thunderstorm, the shades of pavements when it’s autumn, the harvest season and the unspoken competition to pick the freshest tomatoes, the mediocre midnights and the color of the sunsets, the smell of bakeries early in the morning, the frosty breeze of the fast-approaching winter, the warmth of oven when baking christmas cookies, the thickness of paper when flipping through magazine pages, the smell of new books and new clothes and new things.
When you start looking at things, really really looking, you’ll start living. Because then you’ll understand how it is to really be a HUMAN in this world full of people.
LEARN TO BE A HUMAN. APPRECIATE & LIVE YOUR LIFE FOR YOURSELF.
Your competition is; your procrastination, your ego, the unhealthy food you’re consuming, the knowledge you neglect, the negative behaviour you’re nurturing & your lack of creativity.
COMPETE AGAINST THAT.
(This video got nothing to do with the post above. Inflation has gone higher everywhere. But i really don’t know why nobody is talking about new raise in council taxes, water bills & road tax. In UK, there’s a road tax you have to pay once every 6 months if you own a car. And water bill is also paid in every 6 months. Council tax you have to pay every month even if it’s a rented property. Post brexit all bills shot up abnormally. Today government announced 150💷 temporary council tax rebate for tax band A to D, i don’t think it’s helping anyone amid power/energy price hike & new tax slab changes.)
Our preference for instant gratification reveals an important truth about success: because of how we are wired, most people will spend all day chasing quick hits of satisfaction.
The road less traveled is the road of delayed gratification. If you’re willing to wait for the rewards, you’ll face less competition and often get a bigger payoff. As the saying goes; the last mile is always the least crowded.
STAY CONSISTENT & ENJOY THE JOURNEY.
