Make the calls you’ve been telling yourself you’ll do ‘tomorrow’.
Let the small shit go.
Never go to bed angry or upset.
We will all die one day, so learn to live each day with the promise to yourself that it’ll be better than yesterday.

This is what you don’t do:

Don’t let this world make you bitter.
Don’t let the actions of other people turn you cold on the inside.
Certain things happen that hurt us, people come that leave us, and most of all there are moments when you’re bound to fall.
Don’t let those things make you unkind.
It’s okay to cry.
It’s okay to be sad.
But it’s never okay to do other people wrong just because you were done wrong.
We’re human.
We break.
We make mistakes.
But don’t let pain and sadness run your life.

Wake up in the morning and do what you think is right.
There are moments in your life where you feel like giving up and you can’t take it anymore.
It’s okay.
Breathe.
Inhale.
Exhale.
I know you’re weak.
But the things that show your weak side are also the same ones that make you stronger in the long run.
It’s all about taking whatever life throws at you and learning from it.

If you go to the gym and you work out, come back and you look in the mirror; you will see nothing.
If you go to the gym the next day and you come back and look at the mirror; you will see nothing.
You think, so clearly there’s no results.
It can’t be measured.
It must not be effective, so we quit.

Or if you fundamentally believe, this is the right course of action to stick, to make yourself to that act of service.
You can make yourself to the regime of exercise.
You can’t screw it up if you eat chocolate cake one day.
You can skip a day or two.
But if you stick with it consistently, not exactly sure what day, but I know you’ll start getting into shape.
Going to the gym for nine hours a day doesn’t get you into shape.
Working out every day for 30 minutes gets you into shape.
It’s not about the events.
It’s not about intensity.
It’s about CONSISTENCY.

TIME must be used towards rightful ACTIONS backed by GOOD INTENTIONS.
ACTION means nothing without INTENTION.
TIME is not REFUNDABLE, use it with INTENTION.

Instead of saying “I’m lazy,” saying “I’ve made a habit of not doing work unless it’s absolutely necessary.”
Instead of saying “I’m a bad friend,” saying “I haven’t communicated as much as I should with the people I care about.”

By being specific about your problems, and by framing it as an action that you are consciously either working on or ignoring rather than an unchangeable part of who you are, you allow yourself to accept your mistakes and work constructively on them instead of pretending they didn’t happen or wallowing in blaming yourself.

Honestly I think one of the most empowering things you can do for yourself is to separate your negative qualities from your identity. (Not my words.)
