When you live with unforgiveness in your heart, you become debilitated, unable to move and show up in the world in the way that you were created to all because, you took on the spirit of offense and chose not to forgive.
So, you see while at times, you may feel like it’s your right to hold offense and not forgive and while you do have free will you must also understand that what you felt was a “right” will also be the very thing that strips you of your ability to live in freedom. And, so in your quest to experience justice, you’ll only instigate the greater injustice against yourself, your we being, and your future.
Know this:
FORGIVENESS IS POWERFUL.
FORGIVENESS IS FREEDOM.
It liberates you from offense, from bitterness, and from the negative spirits that will invade your heart, soul, and mind and prohibit you from being a source of light in the world.
So, forgive even when it’s hard, even when the person across the table is undeserving.
(This paragraph got nothing to do with the post above. I am still a part-time employee because of my student status & business interests. Workplace environment gets messy when somebody sends a package without mentioning employee ID, especially when we all are working from home since the beginning of this pandemic. I can’t sleep at night if i hurt someone that day. I think about what i did wrong & whether i cleaned my mess. That’s my 2 minute night time routine. I can’t hate people. Most days i am a good TAP & because of that i sleep like a dead body for straight 6-7 hours.
Totally understand that. I don’t hurt people either. I am same way. I am very careful and kind.
But I have someone who hurts me and continues to do so without regard – they know they do it, they do it on purpose because they get enjoyment from it… and they don’t care.
So my forgiveness to them is not needed or cared about.
And I do hate him for what he did and continues to try to do – I’m exhausted by his shit, but he continues
So I am just quiet and lay low – but he still continues
So no I do not offer forgiveness to someone like that. I have no problem with that.
There will always be one or two miserable assholic people in everyone’s life. We don’t need to forgive them. Or even better, we don’t need to interact with them. I understand you Trisha.👍

Through Jesus Christ, I forgive all the monsters bcuz he gives me the ability to do so. Grudges take too much energy and time away from a full and rewarding life with our true loved ones.
Though life is not fair, God is fair! If the monsters deserve punishment, he will pour down his wrath upon them in greater misery than I could ever bestow upon them. But, if they turn from their sins and are truly sorry and believe in The Christ, they need not worry. He forgives me and so I forgive them- through him.
