Find out that one thing in life you love doing irrespective of time & what people say. If you make money out of it, that’s another bonus. If you can’t monetize it, pat yourself because you are still doing something that you love to do.
In my case; I love staying fit & I have a mad lust towards sneakers, hoodies and watches. I sell whey protein supplements & athleisure clothes because I understand the market of being fit and being on fleek. Now this one is my anger or rant whatever, “Why the fuck there is an Air Jordan 1 low in Nike’s official website?” That’s the only thing which looks uglier than denim on denim. Jordan means high top, they must remain exactly like that till armageddon hits this planet. Open this link to see this ugly piece of shit I am talking about. And yes back to my post, I still love working as a data analytics professional for few big clients from MNCs. It took me a huge chunk of life to earn an engineering bachelor’s degree & buy a master’s business management degree right after that(JKπ), happily milking my skills to yield some nice wonga. I love studies, still pursuing my doctorate. Some day in 2023 or 2024 my only excitement will be “Tap” became “Dr.Tap”.π€£
We all have a dream & we fear to live that. Keep on asking yourself “What makes you feel alive!!”, all answers to your happiness lies there. Being happy or great is nothing but living your purpose & passion.
Tap OUT..π€
Oh thatβs a cool hobby. In my case, my hobbies involve me spending rather than earning ππ·
I would love to know about those hobbies.π I have seen few paintings in your blog, you are good.
So I play the keyboard, enjoy reading, writing, art, fashion, interior decor, cooking, exercise, yoga, travelling and listening to music. And yourself? π
I love baking more than cooking. Yes I like playing piano once in a while, but not more than basketball, skateboarding & surfing. I listen to music that I can dance or workout. That’s a good list of hobbies you mentioned. Keep it up Hannah.π€π
Iβm the opposite, I prefer cooking to baking but I enjoy both π those are some cool hobbies, Iβd love to be able to skate and surf!
If you wanna learn skateboarding, southbank skatepark is heaven. I miss surfing now a days since I moved to Berlin from Cardiff. I have a huge intolerance to all spices, that’s the reason I don’t enjoy cooking.π
Oh, I didnβt know that you used to live in the UK! I live in London, and Iβve seen the southbank skatepark…itβs pretty epic π I love spices but I still cry like a baby when I cook an onion π
I visit London quite often to meet friends, just 2hr flight. We have our favourite spots in soho & camden. True that about southbank skatepark, it’s like mecca of skateboarding enthusiasts. I can’t handle anything that’s spicy, pink salt & ground pepper are enough for my food.π
Soho and Camden are my favourite spots too π pink salt and pepper?! This is why I was surprised that youβre Indian ππ
Poor Tap π€£, sensitive tastebuds I think. I love London for my specific reasons, but not more than Cardiff. Cardiff bay is pureβ€οΈ.
Hahah oh bless π I take it you have your Nandoβs mild or plain or possibly lemon and herb π
Iβve not been to Cardiff, it sounds lovely π
Cardiff is a beautiful & way less crowded compared to London. Aaahhh I miss Nando’s, I was sleeping after swimming last time my friends ordered something from Nando’s & Greggs. You are right, lemon & herbs are my thing.ππ
Yeah London can be too much sometimes, but at the moment itβs an empty ghost town in central π I miss Nandoβs too, my nearest one is still closed due to covid. Oh man, youβre not one of those lemon and herb people ππ
It’s reopening little by little everywhere. Hope you enjoyed eating out during 50% off promotion days last month. Sorry for Nando’s close to your place.π€£ My favourite foods are lamb chops, pizza & cheesecake. I love baking, so I am all sorted in that aspect.
It was a great deal, but unfortunately I prefer to get my food on the weekends so I didnβt end up using the offer π© Sounds like you have good taste in food! And you should upload some of your bakes on your blog, Iβd love to see them ππ¦
I mostly eat tons of salad, boiled eggs & roasted chicken. Weekend are cheat days reserved for pizza & cheesecake.π€£ I too can use such offers only on weekends. Planning to put few of my recipes online after I start a restaurant, hopefully by this November.π€
Lots of proteins there…and rabbit food π Oh, I do love a good cheesecake hahah. Thatβs lucky, for us the offer was only valid on Monday through to Wednesday during August. What cuisine would your restaurant be? Or would you start a dessert lounge instead? I look forward to seeing your recipes π
Protein ππͺ. I look like a beefcake for that reason.πMonday to wednesday & it’s over, that’s why I asked. I eat everything if it’s weekend. I don’t have any such cuisine preference. A full monty always works or pastaio in soho is pure joy in your city. My restaurant: hopefully TAP CAFE. Menu will be coffee, shakes, yoghurt based ice creams, doner kebab, sourdough bread sandwiches, pizza, pies and cheesecakes. (Everything without sugar or corn syrup).
πππ Yeah, you need those proteins if you work out a lot hahah
I agree thereβs so much good food out there, so itβs hard to pick a favourite cuisine. Tap cafe sounds great ππ₯°
What’s your favourite cuisine? It’s still a lot of work to plan a restaurant & this pandemic is making things tougher. A bigπ€ to Hannah for liking the name.π
Thatβs a hard question for me, I like too many! True, itβs undoubtedly a hard time for anything hospitality related…maybe next year? π aww itβs a pleasure π€π
No delay in restaurant plans, I give deadlines to myself. I hope/wish Indian dishes aren’t included in your favourite. I can’t even remember when I had rice or flat bread last time.π
I admire your strength and dedication, I wish that some of my clients were the same π
I like Indian food, but for restaurants I wouldnβt say itβs one of my favourites. Ahh I take it, you donβt eat much Indian since you donβt enjoy spice ππ
Yeah, the fakest Indian dish of all time in UK restaurants is “Chicken tikka masala”, I am afraid of that orange colour. I am still working on myself to be more dedicated towards my desires.π€π€
Ugh yeah, worse thing is when people claim it was invented by the British π oh you wimp! Maybe I should send a photo of that orange curry for you ππ Thatβs a great thing to be working towards π
Yeah. Deal. You send me the pic of that orange curry & I will share the best possible Freddy Krueger photo. Let’s see who gets a nightmare first!!π
Hahah sounds like a plan! Now I need to go to an Indian restaurant…or better yet, use the recipe they use for school lunches π€£π€£
Please “NO” to Indian restaurant. But I would love to see the recipe you followed & what you cooked!!π 2-minute silence for those kids who got that orange gravy in school lunches.βοΈ
Hahah okay weβll see π
Those poor souls, may their taste buds heal ππ
π€£Poor taste buds, RIP. Did your mom ever cook that curry for your school lunch?
Nope haha, I prefer a light lunch so Iβd usually have a sandwich. And yourself?
Strawberry milkshake & peanut butter sandwich.π I had it so much that now I hate both.
That sounds very sweet and sickening to have everyday ππ
True that. Little Tap suffered a lot because of working parents.π
Oh bless ππ
